About Us

LIB Entertainment Awards Australia (LEAA) was established in 2012 by a group of elite Liberian entertainers.

Our team is dedicated to promoting and providing support to Liberian entertainers. Our primary aim is to facilitate and foster the development of Liberians artistic skills, thus we provide platforms where Liberian entertainers can exhibit their works.

We proud ourselves through appreciating excellence and innovations across all platforms of entertainments, and in 2016 we extended our service to recognize entertainers from other communities.

Mr. Moivabah Fofana

President

Mr Fofana is a founding member and current president of the LIB Entertainment Awards Australia (LEAA). He is a native of Liberia with over thirteen (13) years experience working within the entertainment industry. Mr. Fofana expertise in the entertainment industry is reflected in his broad scope of work spanned from 2005. He is an individual of remarkable versatility, and demonstrated ability to adapt to various functions and activities. Mr Fofana is an experienced writer, director and producer. He has written, directed and produced a number of intriguing short and feature films. Those  include My Love, Desperate Girls, My Story and Shadow. He has an unflappable nature combined with great problem solving skills. Mr. Fofana was recognized locally and internationally for his outstanding work in the entertainment industry. Mr Fofana was awarded the Best Film Producer at the Afro Australian Music and Movies Awards in 2011. He also received a Certificate of Appreciation from the Federation of Liberian Mandingo in America (FELMUSA) and the New Jersey City Council, for his outstanding contribution to Liberia’s entertainment in the diaspora. Mr Fofana has continued to demonstrate expertise in entertainment, and his finished products are seamless and unique. He is a graduate of the prestigious Australian National University with a Master of International Criminal Law. He also obtained Bachelor of criminology and Bachelor of Social Work from the University of South Australia respectively.

Patrick Togba

Vice President

Patrick Togba who is musically known as Eazy.p is one of the founding members of LEAA and current vice president. He is a welder by trade, currently working with a mining company called D.S.I.

Patrick alias Eazy P is a Liberian artist based in Australia. His art is not just limited to past atrocities but it highlights the many facets and experiences of life like, love, unity, peace, laughter etc. Eazy P has shared stage with lots of big names such as: Cassidy, Flavor, Bracket, Timaya, Alonzo, 2face, Emmerson.

He since released 2 albums, 2 Eps, one single and a video DVD which was a success, one of the track off his second album titled “Come Back Home” was requested by BBC to be played all over Africa b4 the news, which he was also interviewed for.

Eazy P has also won a few awards. A member of E-PLUS, he believes with no doubt that his music career is at the stage of being successful. He and his crew has featured lots of big names such as BET award winner Stonebowy, Bracket, Alonzo, Eric Geso, Munnah and etc.

He also went to Liberia in 2008 and hosted a show which was a success about 15000+ people showed up to support his work. He has also featured major Liberian artists such as: David Mell, Bene V, nigga blow and the late Quincy B. Not too long he released a song with his crew E-PLUS called “YOU AND I” then recently released one on his own called “Going MBad”.

Mr. Saliah Siryon

General Secretary

Saliah V Siryon current General secretary for LEAA and an experienced Banker who is currently working with one of Australia leading bank (Australian and New Zealand Bank, ANZ).He has served in multiple roles in the banking sector with ANZ bank and is currently a Specialist in Credit Card, Internet and Retail Banking. He is also passionate about helping and mentoring young people from all backgrounds, gender and race. With such passion, he is also a youth worker with one of Melbourne fastest growing city council (Melton City Council).

Saliah also have passion for Acting and has about five (5) years experience in performing act, short films and commercials. He was privileged to be a part of a group of experience actors who was tasked with the responsibility to organize a play called (Space Invaders) to help breach barrels between young people and law enforcers. The play was toured for about six months through different high schools in Victoria and was a massive success.

During this period, Saliah was also privileged to work with the St Martin Youth Centre for a year as an emerging actor. In that capacity, he developed numerous plays including but not limited to monologues, short film, scripts writing and dramas.

Saliah is a success driven person, as a result, he also developed love for education at a very young age. He graduated from Victoria University with Bachelor of Business, specializing in Tourism Management.

He is currently one of the founding members of the biggest entertainment and awards show in the Liberian community in Australia (Liberian Entertainment Awards Australia).

Saliah endeavor to relaunch his acting career but this time behind the cameras. He is currently undertaking training in producing, directing and film editing.

Michael Smith

Public Relations Officer (PRO)

One of the founding members and Public Relation Officer (PRO) of Liberian Entertainment Australia (LEAA), Mr. Smith alias Dj Flexz is an Electrical/Instrument Technician and a professional disc jockey. He has serve as a Dj and sound technician within the musical industry around Australia for over twelve years. Owner of Price Media Group of companies (Price records and Price Entertainment Australia). Graduated from the Australian Engineering Institute of Technology with an Advance Diploma in Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering (oil & Gas) and a Diploma in Audio & Visual management and productions.
